Bookclub with Danielle Raffaele

Danielle Raffaele adds to Pam Boland’s bedside table with several recommendations today on Bookclub!

They start by discussing an exciting acquisition by Scribe Publications called Hell Days – the non-fiction debut of Australian author Laura Elizabeth Woollett which investigates premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), a hormonal mood disorder with which the author was diagnosed in 2019.

Then, Danielle reviews the Booker shortlisted novel Flesh by David Szalay, a sparsely rendered story following Istvan as he grows up in a Hungarian housing estate before traipsing the world and landing a job working for London’s upper echelons.
