Bookclub with Danielle Raffaele: Invisible Boys

Danielle Raffaele returns to the bookshelf this morning with a local classic on Bookclub.

But first, it’s Library Lovers Week and the State Library of Western Australia is celebrating all things books with their Valentines Day event A Tale of Two Libraries.

Then, this week’s book club pick is Invisible Boys, the 2018 TAG Hungerford award-winning novel by Holden Sheppard and soon to be Stan Original series.

The story follows four gay teenagers as they come of age in the regional Western Australian town of Geraldton. The boys form an unlikely friendship as they grapple with the challenges and prejudices of coming out in a small, remote community, leaning on each other for support and solice.
