Broken Promises: Two years of corporate reporting under Australia’s Modern Slavery Act

A new report released from the Human Rights Law Centre has investigated Australia’s Modern Slavery Act, revealing companies are falling behind in the the minimisation of modern slavery and its risks.

There are an estimated 50 million people still living under modern slavery worldwide and could be as many as 15,000 people within Australia.

UWA Associate Professor of International Human Rights Law Dr. Fiona McGaughey joined Jeff Bullen for On The Record to discuss the Broken Promises report.
