Thami Croeser from RMIT’s Centre for Urban Research caught up with Taylah to discuss the concept of a ‘green city oasis’ – what is it and how can Perth become one?

Urban greening doesn’t lack any appeal with its power to improve people’s mental health, increase urban biodiversity and provide solutions for natural water treatment, but the lack of demand is not the factor delaying this green city revolution.

Thami has worked with cities all over the world who are wanting this level of urban renewal and commented on the lack of infrastructure and experience that is holding Perth, and other cities, back in this progression.
