Celebrating Puccini at Opera in the Quarry

West Australian Opera is marking 100 years since the death of Italian composer Giacomo Puccini at this year’s Opera in the Quarry.

The programme will celebrate iconic works by the much-loved Italian creative including La boheme and Madama Butterfly as well as Leonard Bernstein’s The Candidate.

Australian soprano Naomi Johns joins Bec Bowman on Artbeat to discuss this milestone event.

Opera in the Quarry runs from November 14-16 at The Quarry Amphitheatre.
