Climate Change Curriculum

RTRFM’s Tom Reynolds talks with Curtin Universities Dr Brad Gobby about the West Australian government will be launching an inquiry in to how schools should respond to climate change, while keeping schools cool and safe for students but it wont be looking in too how to add education around climate change and how it could be included in a school curriculum.

Australian students and students around the world have been protesting in recent times about climate change. This has resulted in the ensuing inquiry in too how schools will deal with this problem. While climate change is already in many schools curriculum, the time spent on the subject is sub par.

Tom Reynolds goes over the intricacies of these issues with Dr Brad Gobby and begin to outline what needs to be added to the curriculum so we can address climate change and sustainability problems in our modern world.
