Community food fundraiser supports victims of Turkey, Syria earthquake

By now we’ve seen the devastation unfolding in Turkey and Syria with a maginitude 7.8 earthquake rocking both countries and resulting in the death and injury of more than 20,000 people.

Though foreign aid has been flowing into the region, initiatives abroad have been popping up including the South Beach Cafe Family fundraiser.

Business owner and Kurdish community member Ishmet Aslan and celebrity chef Anna Gare joined Taylah Strano in the studio for Breakfast to chat about how Perth locals can contribute to relief efforts this weekend.
