United Nations mobilise on climate action for COP27 summit

For nearly 30 years the United Nations has been hosting an annual climate change conference, commonly known as Conference of the Parties. 

This month the COP27 is being held in Egypt, with plans to mobilise significant action before 2030 following warnings from the UN the world lacks an achievable global plan to avoid apocalyptic climate change within the next generation. 

Curtin University Professor of Sustainability Peter Newman joined Tom Reynolds ahead of his trip to the conference to chat about the importance of the event and what Australia can do to get ahead of its climate goals.
