Culturally combusted: Moonlighter

Fremantle three-piece psychedelic blues outfit Moonlighter are back after an “indefinite [live show] hiatus”.

The trio were reunited after Sascha Seabourne-Carlin and Connor Hart returned to Perth with degrees in contemporary music from the Australian Music Institute of Melbourne.

Dennis Gedling caught up with Sascha last Saturday on Get Up Morning to discuss how the band met; they talk of the band’s “brutal days in the shed jamming out” during lockdown, and how Melbourne “culturally combusted” their musical influences.
