Curtin Uni’s international symposium addresses urban warming

As countries across the globe are starting to experience an increase in the number of extreme heat waves or heat weeks, a new area of climate research is emerging: urban warming and nature based solutions on how to adapt our urban environments to cope with the future.

RTRFM’s Zoe Warwick went along to the first summit on Urban Warming held by Curtin University to find out more from participants including Andrea Valentine Vilaroman (part one) and Associate Professor Ashraf Dewan from Curtin’s School of Earth and Planetary Sciences (part two).
