Didion’s Bible dial up friendship rock on debut LP

Finally, beloved Boorloo 6-piece Didion’s Bible present their debut album Yours Truly, DB.

After 4 EPs over 7 years, Yours Truly, DB is the band at the top of their game, showcasing their unique blend of DIY-punk, synth-pop and ‘friendship rock’.

The shared songwriting outlet for frontmen Drew Krapljanov and Laurent Shervington, the pair have cultivated an infamy for their combination of bizarre, witty lyricism and unmatched onstage passion, flanked by some of Boorloo’s most seasoned instrumentalists. 

Yours Truly, DB is a high energy 12-track album that deftly captures the chaos and candor of a Didions’s Bible live performance, in no small part due to recording engineer Michael Jelinek (Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Sly Withers, The Growl).

Full of classic Drew and Laurent lyrical style, obscure arthouse film and music references and in-jokes, while always returning to a place of unapologetic sincerity, this album feels like a testament to love and friendship.
