Dr Elizabeth Reid Boyd on the myth of Lady Godiva

Dr Elizabeth Reid Boyd, an author and Senior Lecturer in social science and creative writing at Edith Cowan University, joined Bec Bowman on Artbeat to discuss Lady Godiva – the ‘OG horse girl’ – and what the noblewoman’s enduring presence in culture says about myth and feminism.

They also chatted about how Lady Godiva’s tale served Dr Boyd as inspiration for both a research paper and historical fiction novel.
