A landmark Senate inquiry into the impact of concussions has given 13 recommendations on what needs to change in how Australia handles head trauma in contact sports.

Dr Sarah Hellewell is a neurotraumatologist and neuroscientist from Curtin’s Faculty of Health Sciences Peron Institute.

She explores the topic of head trauma in contact sport. Discussing questions such as ”what could sporting codes should be doing” and going into detail about the effects of brain injury caused by head knocks.
