Earth to Table

A new cookbook has been released and it celebrates diversity, nutritious cooking and cultural stories. It’s called ‘Earth to Table’ and was co-developed by student dietitians from the WA Centre for Rural Health at The University of Western Australia, and Yamatji elders and families in Geraldton (Jambinu). “Earth to Table brings together Yamatji knowledge, stories and nutritious food practices in a way that will benefit families for generations,” Mitsui E&P Australia CEO Ken Yamamura said. Notable recipes in the book that are worth looking out for include kangaroo con carne, kangaroo lasagne, kangaroo rissoles, kangaroo tacos and kangaroo massaman curry. The book can be downloaded for free on WACRH’s website and can also be obtained as a physical copy.
