ECU Professor reveals that social robots in the workplace would be met with little resistance

Professor Sanjit Roy from Edith Cowan University joined Madeleine Mitchell on On The Record to discuss the implications of social robots in the workplace.

Professor Sanjit Roy believes that its highly likely that robots in the workplace will be meet with little resistance.

One of the challenges that may present itself is the bad connotations with robots replacing jobs and taking over the workplace.

Professor Roy believes that instead of thinking robots will take over the workplace we need to work the Social Robots, learn to co-exist with them and build trust in the advances in Artificial Intelligence.
