Ensemble Q & William Barton

Starting his career at only age 12, Aboriginal-Australian multi-instrumentalist William Barton is recognised as one of Australia’s leading didgeridoo players and composers.

Ensemble Q is a group powered by the passion envisioned to create an ensemble with virtuosic integrity and a dedication to performance of undiscovered masterpieces, directed by co-artistic directors cellist, Trish Dean and clarinetist, Paul Dean.

Together, they bring a multi-faceted kaleidoscope of sound in ‘Ensemble Q & William Barton‘ presented by Musica Viva Australia at Perth Concert Hall on September, 30

In the ear-catching program old meets new and new meets old, including works by William Barton and Paul Dean alongside hand-picked masterpieces by Brahms and Ligeti.

Distinguished artist, William Barton chats with Bec Bowman on Artbeat ahead of the performance.

Musica Viva Australia also will be holding master-classes from internationally acclaimed artists sharing their experience and expertise.
