Examining teacher shortages and burnout with Dr Saul Karnovsky

Heightened by the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers continue to struggle with ever-increasing workloads and a lack of support resulting in unprecedented burnout and staffing shortages.

In response, the Federal Government recently launched a multi-million dollar national plan to try and stop the shortages.

Dr Saul Karnovsky from the School of Education at Curtin University joined Pam Boland for On The Record to discuss the shortages and how the government plans to respond.
