First Lights regional tour lights up the outback with First Nation’s stories

Making waves during the Fremantle Biennial, First Lights was a beautiful and innovative art performance using drones to re-enact Indigenous Australian stories.

First Lights is now hitting the road for a regional tour up and down WA with each performance being guided by traditional owners and artists; relaying a site specific history on ancient knowledge and living stories from each region.

Bec Bowman spoke with Biennial co-founder and artistic director Tom Muller about this immersive cultural experience.
