Food Co-Ops Grow in Popularity as Grocery Prices Rise

With grocery prices continuing to rise, many Australians have found themselves searching for alternatives to be able to afford their weekly grocery shop.

One such option is community food co-operatives or co-ops, where members collectively purchase food in bulk, often from local producers. Along with reducing costs for members, food co-ops can play a role in improving diet, reducing transport emissions, and supporting local farmers.
