Hilarious new theatre show CONFESSIONAL from WAAPA alumni

New independent theatre show CONFESSIONAL is coming to The Jonesway Theatre, Northbridge, from 8-10 May 2025. Structured through sketch-style vignettes and inspired by verbatim confessions, CONFESSIONAL is a 60-minute production showcasing the hilarious and confusing thoughts we have when we lust over someone, and the morally questionable lengths we may go in the pursuit of love.

Penelope Gordon is the producer, assistant director, and dramaturg, and – alongside one of the lead actors Jaz Hosken – joins Artbeat’s Bec Bowman to chat about the real confessions behind the production, the process of playing multiple roles across one show, and a chance for audience members to feature their own confessions!
