How much do you know about Robodebt?

More than 400,000 vulnerable Australian citizens were subject to the Robodebt scheme described by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese as a ‘cruel system’ and ‘human tragedy’.

In 2022 the Royal Commission into the Robodebt scheme was established to investigate and acknowledge the depth of harm caused to the Australian community.

Monash University Media and Communications lecturer Dr Ben Eltham joined Jeff Bullen for On The Record to discuss the origins of the system and its ongoing impact.
