This week on Indymedia, Ray Grenfell and Kelly Warden tackle a range of  issues impacting the Australian environmental, social and political landscape.

They discuss a new campaign uniting conservationists, scientists and Indigenous elders to save the Australian Black Cockatoo.

Campaign organiser Patty Cullan chats with the team about the implementation of an emergency plan to preserve the endangered fauna.

They are also joined by Gumeroi man  Raymond Weatherall to discuss this weeks protest against a new Santos and the Commonwealth lead gas project on Gadigal land.

He chats live about the devastating environmental impact of the project and the lands cultural significance to the Gumeroi people.
