International Nurses Day

International Nurses Day is celebrated each year on May 12, marking the birthday of the founder of modern nursing, Florence Nightingale

This year’s theme is Our Nurses. Our Future with a campaign to address the ongoing fight for improving global health as well as working conditions of our frontline health staff.

Australian Nurses Federation (ANF) state secretary Janet Reah joined Damon Sutton on Breakfast to talk about the importance of the day.
