Joyce Tasma

Joyce Tasma is an extraordinary artist whose work is born from a lifelong passion for collecting and repurposing found objects. Her journey began in Exmouth, where she learned the art of basketmaking and weaving—a foundation she’s transformed into her unique abstract art practice. Joyce’s pieces are intricate and textured, each crafted with eco-dyed fabrics, driftwood, and hand-stitched elements that beautifully combine nature and creativity. Every artwork tells a story woven from the earth’s treasures, making her creations not just visually captivating, but deeply personal. Joyce has a solo exhibition, “Lines in the Sand”, opening on March 28th at the All Malt Brewery in Mandurah.
