Kirk Jones discusses I Swear and the legacy of John Davidson

From misunderstood youth to respected educator and activist, the life of John Davidson and his experience with Tourette Syndrome is explored in the new film I Swear. John (Richard Aramayo) grows up in the Scottish town of Galashiels during the 1980s when the public had little knowledge of the disorder, and his early symptoms are classed as intentionally disruptive behavior, isolating him from his community and even his family. Through the support of others and understanding his own condition, not only is John able to change the way he sees himself, but how the public views Tourette Syndrome as well.

RTRFM’s Will Yagmich  spoke with the film’s director Kirk Jones to hear more about I Swear.
