Latest Book Release For Alasdair McGregor

Author Alasdair McGregor joins Artbeat to chat about the release of his stunning new nature photographic book Mountains Over Australia’s Blue Horizon. The Sydney based lecturer, artist and writer, has long been drawn to the beauty and fine details of the outdoors.

For lovers of nature and photography McGregor’s treasured new book celebrates Australia’s rich mountain history, despite being the flattest continent on earth, acting as some what of an anomaly. Australia’s Mountains may not stand as tall as other mightier peaks, but they are spectacular in their own right with an abundance of rich history, as explored in Mountains: Over Australia’s Blue Horizon. In an additional win for Western Australian Aussies, McGregor captures the scenic beauty of Mount Augusta, known as Burringurrah by the local Wadjari people.
