Less EV Subsidies

In the last 12 months, Australia has seen a growing uptake of electric vehicles. Last year 12% of new cars were fully electric, and 7% were plug-in hybrids. This uptake has led to 0.4% drop in emissions in the transport sector. And with a looming fuel shortage on the horizon, making EV’s more accessible feels all the more imperative.

Fiona Bartholomaeus chats with Professor Hussein Dia.
