Libby Trainor Parker is a comedian, journalist, teacher, radio presenter and cabaret performer.
Libby also has endometriosis.
One in ten people in Australia are living with endometriosis and with those closest to them of others are supporting them, caring for them, championing various treatments and being impacted by this incurable and often misdiagnosed condition. Endometriosis is a disease in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus.
Endo Days the show, debuted at Adelaide Fringe, where it ran for four seasons.
Endo Days is also a new book published by Wakefield Press, weaving the story of Libby’s life with endometriosis around interviews with a diverse range of ‘endo friendos’ across Australia, including the experiences of trans, queer, neurodivergent, younger, older, First Nations, metropolitan and rural Australians.
