Local Author Jay Martin on Debut Novel Boom Town Snap

Boom Town Snap is the debut novel of local author Jay Martin.

The book, published through Fremantle Press, follows the story of a young woman, Georgie, who leaves an Australian mining town to take a job in Alberta, Canada. Along the way, the narrative explores themes of power dynamics and gender politics in the workplace, as well as the mining industry’s impact on the natural world.
