Local Feature Chat: Bribes on the limericks and love of thier debut LP

Bribes self-titled debut album is a beautifully balanced alt-rock record, gracefully running between folky no-frills minimalism and the grit of grunge and psychedelic rock.

Ange, Ronan and Aaron—alumni of local bands Jocelyn’s Baby, Ribs, Wound Honey and Sooks—sound supremely confident in their artistic vision (despite the band only having a digital and musical footprint that stretches back to mid-2023).

The band joined Pam on Brekky to talk recording to tape, Letterboxd limericks and writing lyrics at traffic lights.
