Local Feature: Lonesome Dove – AWWWW

For the final time this year it’s time to check in with our local feature artists.

Lonesome Dove, are an authentic Indie-Rock band that encapsulate an amalgamation of driving guitars, contrasting vocals and tree-part harmonies, all of which are performed with a tongue in cheek and begrudged fun that will make you want to cry into your dancing shoes.

The band have been keeping busy – in just a year or so as a fully formed band they have released a six track EP titled AWWWW.

Breakfast With Taylah is joined in the studio with Nici Ward and Ben Protasiewicz, who are two members from the band. Together they discuss how they got to work with Adem Kerimofski to produce and release the project through Igloo Records, including the reasoning for leaning towards the sound aesthetic of the 1990s, and focusing on the themes of overwhelming senses of love and friendship.
