Local Feature: Spice World’s debut album There’s No I In Spice World

This week’s RTRFM Local Feature record comes courtesy of the quickly-formed, much-beloved Walyalup/Fremantle band Spice World.

Their debut album, There’s No I In Spice World is out now via Tenth Court and is an endearingly scrappy collection of DIY, ad-hoc pop music that is sometimes sad and sometimes silly and always offered in earnest. They group bring a punk mindset and laissez faire approach to sun-drenched kitchen table music.

Band members Jonny Burrows and Lyndon Blue join Taylah Strano for Breakfast to talk about the ten-track release, how Spice World how the band came to be and treat us to a live performance of their track Decorated Boy Scout.
