Midland’s The Definitives talk touring and inspo

The Definitives combine unassuming yet profound lyricism with charming ocker delivery and kind of way-out instrumental grooves, with spoken word, guitars, drum machines and synthesizers.

Connecting via DADAA Midland’s Studio Program the band have been performing and releasing experimental music as a collective since 2021.

This motley crew of poets and visual artists draw on their lived experience of mental illness to create whimsical vignettes propelled by freewheeling rhythms.

On Breakfast, Pam catches up with the Definitives’ singer-songwriters and multi-disclinary artists Mariana Jansack and Rod Stone.
