Monogamy vs Non Monogamy – Is one superior to the other?

Monogamy has been the predominant type of relationship in much of recent Western history, and thus a lot of people are biased towards these types of relationships compared to alternative arrangements, but are they the best?

The Journal of Sex Research recently published a study detailing data from more than 20,000 people from various countries. The study found that there are no differences in satisfaction between individuals in monogamous relationships or non monogamous relationships. This study debunks the belief that monogamous relationships are inherently superior in creating fulfilling relationships compared to alternative structures or arrangements.
