Mowanjum Now: Concert from the Kimberley

Over the past few years musicians from Mowanjum in WA’s Kimbereley region have been collaborating with peers in Walyalup/Fremantle through live shows, festivals and recording sessions.

Mowanjum Now is the culmination of their efforts and it launches as part of Walyalup’s 10 Nights in Port this weekend. The band features regional artists Kallum Mungulu, Steven Nulgit and John “Ninja” Rastas; not to mention local faves Nick Albrook, Talya Valenti, Jason Snook and more.

Kallum Mungulu joined Pam Boland for Breakfast ahead of this weekend’s performance to chat about the project and what audiences can expect.
