New law passed to allow pets in rental properties!

The Australian Apartment Advocacy’s Samantha Reece chats with Madeleine Mitchell about a new law that was passed by The Department of Commerce in regards to having pets in rental properties.

The law states that landlords can’t ban pets and must have a valid reason to do so. Samantha Reece explains the process that renters need to go through with their landlord to approve their pets. Australian Apartment Advocacy represents the 2.5 million Australians who choose an apartment as their home.
