New Nausea makes Music For Frogs

Six years after the release of their much adored debut Fountain of Struth, New Nausea release their second album, Music For Frogs with Holiday Records (NZ) via local label Rockton Records.

Recorded and produced over the course of two years — largely by Albert Pritchard, the project’s frontman and songwriter, with help from local musician extraordinaire and audio engineer Jack Seah among many other friends — the LP is a heartfelt labour of love that is in equal turns joyous and devasting.

Albert joins Pam Boland to dive deep into the making of Music For Frogs; tempering grief with whimsy, pedal steel guitar, papier-mache frog heads and DM-ing Mighty Boosh’s Mike Fielding.

AND New Nausea kicks of Slightly Odway‘s return to the airwaves performing Say Anything from their new album and a cover of Silverchair‘s After All These Years live in-studio.

New Nausea launch Music for Frogs February 6 at Mojo’s with Nika Mo, Doctopus and Rabbit Island.
