Nobel Laureate To Host Call To Climate Action
Western Australia is a land of unique landscapes that have created and shaped many diverse communities.
Through this connection to the land however, Western Australians often witness the early effects of Global Climate Change.
Whilst most Western Australians have everything we need to slow and ultimately halt this, scientists have agreed upon joint consensus that the World has reached ‘Tipping Point’ with very little time to avert the most catastrophic consequences.
On The Record presenter Fiona Bartholomaeus is joined in the studio with Nobel laureate Dr Bill Hare, who is a Physicist, Climate Scientist and CEO of non-profit science policy institute Climate Analytics.
Hare has also contributed to the development of the International Climate Regime since 1989,and is the lead panellist involved in the third instalment of the ‘Tipping Point Series’ hosted within the Western Australian Museum Boola Bardip.
Together they converse in conversation as to how Australia and the International countries have been handling impacts and policy responses when it comes to Climate Change Action, including why it is important to establish open and informed conversations regarding the current state of Earth’s Climate Emergency to maintain public involvement.
