Over The Fence Comedy Film Festival 2026

The beloved short comedy film festival Over the Fence returns this year – celebrating 30 years of finding the humour in life. This year’s program, Life, as it Goes On…!, brings together 15 short films, each capturing a different slice of the wonderfully unpredictable rhythm of being human. Over The Fence is a grassroots festival dedicated to championing the indie and new filmmakers – who are at the starting point of a flourishing filmmaking industry. They aim to create a vibrant, stimulating, inspiring environment for both filmmakers and the audience, and more importantly to bring laughter, joy and thought to people. Featuring a delicate balance of dark and irreverent comedy, the festival proves that laughter really is one of the most powerful tools we’ve got. You can catch Over The Fence on Friday 8th May at 6.30pm at Luna Leederville or Friday 29th May at 6.30pm at Luna On SX.
