Peaches & Pussies

Taking the alternative music world by storm in the year 2000 with her sophomore album The Teaches of Peaches, Canadian-born, Berlin-based musician Merril Nisker AKA Peaches has not slowed down, not just with her music but also visual art and theatre, as well as (pre-COVID) relentless touring.

Releasing her first new music in five years with the 2020 single Flip This, Peaches is back with more new music, recently releasing the very timely Pussy Mask, a track inspired by the absurdities of modern life and living in a pandemic era (that also has one of the most incredible (NSFW) videos you will see in a long time).

RTRFM’s Will Backler caught up with Peaches for an extended chat, finding out what’s been keeping her busy for the last few years, changes in both the music industry and society in general over the last few decades, the inspiration behind Pussy Mask, and stacks more.
