Perth Festival Takeover on Artbeat!

Perth Festival Director Iain Grandage joined Bec Bowman on Artbeat to discuss the upcoming festival. The festival kicks off this weekend and features more than 100 free and ticketed events that are set to inspire and delight all month long.

First up, Bec and Iain were joined by dancer Mika from Akram Khan’s work Jungle Book Reimagined and the musical director/composer of Marregeku‘s work Mutiara – Safuan Bin Johari.

Up next Perth Festival’s Visual Arts Curator Annika Kristensen joined Bec and Iain along with Visual Artist Linda Tegg.

And to close out the Perth Festival Takeover on Artbeat we heard from the Contemporary Music Programmer, Tom Supple on the process of programming the festival and what shows you can look forward to!
