IDAHOBIT stands for the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia. May 17 marks the date in 1990 that homosexuality was removed from the WHO Classification of Diseases.

Poppy Sloan discusses with RTRFM’s Madeleine Mitchell about why IDAHOBIT is still important today expressing the start of the conversation and relating to and understanding people who are different.

Sloan also talks about what people can expect from the social inclusion forum and how people can become better allies/support.
