PREMIERE: Grand Casual – Sway

Esperance-based three-piece Grand Casual follow up a huge 2020 with their new single, Sway. 

The instrumental parts for Sway were stumbled upon in a classic free jam that left the band with a smile, while lyrically the track explores a chance meeting at a party that over time became an enduring relationship.

Recorded in August 2021 by Andy Lawson at Debaser Studios Perth, the band headed into the session with a sense of optimism – a vibe that flows throughout the surf-rock-inspired indie track that pairs washed out reverb and fast-paced drum work with soaring vocals and a catchy chorus hook, sure to get stuck in your head.

Sway is available across all platforms from Thursday the 25th of February, the release date timed to coincide with Grand Casual’s performance at The Nannup Music Festival 2021.
