Prudence Sanders on ‘Abandoned’

Storms, passion, monsters, anguish, pleasure, heartbreak…”Abbandonata”. Translated, the Italian adjective means ‘Abandoned’.

A dramatic journey of three women at pivotal moments in their lives.

Abandonata‘ is a collaborative series between Australian Baroque and West Australian Opera. The first of four exquisite musical journeys celebrating the grandeur of the Baroque era, held on March 14 at Hackett Hall, under the direction of Helen Kruger.

Prudence Sanders is a Perth raised soprano, who trained at The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) before receiving a scholarship to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Pru makes her way back to Perth to join the West Australian Opera Company as a Principal Artist.
