We’re halfway through our annual subscription drive Radiothon, and today we’re joined by a guest who is no stranger to radio and especially RTRFM.

Our first guest for this morning is the Federal Member for Perth, Patrick Gorman. Patrick Gorman was elected to Federal Parliament in 2018, and following the election of the Albanese government in May 2022, he became the Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister. In May this year, Gorman became the Assistant Minister to the Public Service as well.

Mr. Gorman chats with us about the importance of community radio, and how the Federal Government is working to support community broadcasters across Australia through legislation and funding.
