RELICS immersive exhibition details dystopian planet earth, overrun by LEGO

Over 300,000 pieces (almost 250kg) of LEGO, and a couple thousand hours later… Alex Towler and his partner in crime Jackson Harvey can put the tools down and admire their masterpiece.

After winning season 2 of Lego Masters, Alex and Jackson are stepping away from reality TV and have poured their skills into new art exhibition, RELICS: Bricks of the New World.

Set in a dystopia future where humans have left earth and LEGO have taken over what is left behind, the 2 Perth locals have built incredibly detailed and immersive experience, utilising  repurposed items, from a car to a piano.

Alex joined Breakfast with Taylah to chat all about the exhibition.

RELICS: Bricks of the New World is showing at the Good Shed in Claremont, on now until May 30. Entry is free.
