Remembering John Cripps and the legacy of the Pink Lady

The late West Aussie John Cripps took 25 years of research to produce the popular apple variety, the Pink Lady, along with its late-season counterparts the sundowner and joya too.

He was inducted into the Royal Agricultural Society WA’s Hall of Fame in 2010 for his work in the early 90s and today Taylah Strano pays tribute to the trailblazing horticulturalist with the help of Fruit West chair Ann Lyster.
