‘Greenwashing’ report reveals corporations may be falsifying environmental claims

At this year’s COP27 climate summit in Egypt, the United Nations delivered a report into the ‘greenwashing’ of emission reduction targets by global corporations.

Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC), the body responsible for regulating these claims, estimates up to 40 per cent of the environmental claims made by companies could be false.

Fiona Bartholomaeus was joined by Curtin University PhD candidate Keegan Robertson to discuss the report.
