Ruby Gill feels Some Kind Of Control

Following their acclaimed 2022 release Naarm based musician Ruby Gill returns with a stunning new album Some Kind Of Control.

The release is a tender one, quietly devastating with flickers of rage; intimately exploring identity and queerness, amid folk protest tracks and pointed, timely lyricism.

Pam Boland spoke with Ruby for Breakfast about the recording of the album, their relationship with gender, control and identity and what it was like to tour the regions.
