“Sleek, stylish and sexy”: The dangers of online e-cigarette advertising

New research has found online sellers of e-cigarettes in Australia and New Zealand are making outlandish and unsubstantiated health and cost-benefit claims to market their products.

Sparked by growing public debate in recent years over the dangers of e-cigarettes, the research found online retailers are resorting to misleading methods to entice potential buyers.

Curtin University lead researcher Professor Jonine Jancey spoke with Fiona Bartholomaeus for On The Record to discuss the dangers of cigarette advertising.
